Adult Dental Plans
Research shows that preventative dentistry delivered on a regular basis greatly reduces the risk of dental disease and provides a platform for a lifetime of improved oral health. We encourage such an approach and with this in mind we have designed our dental care plans to reward loyal patients, allowing us to plan your dental care more effectively, to provide the best chance of keeping you dentally fit and to reduce the need for future treatment. When you join a plan, you will have the peace of mind that all your preventative dental care will be covered by convenient monthly payments. Our plans also provide worldwide Supplementary Insurance for dental emergencies or dental injuries whilst
at home or abroad.

Who are our plans for?
Our plans are designed for patients who wish to attend the practice on a regular basis and have peace of mind that their routine dental care is covered.
What do our plans include?
Belvedere Dental Maintenance Plan costs £10.50 per month and covers:
• one comprehensive dental examination per year including oral cancer screening and intra oral photography and all small x-rays
• one hygiene visit per year including scale and polish and oral health advice
• assessment of emergency and dental pain with any temporary treatment required carried out within surgery hours
• membership card with 24 hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
• worldwide Supplementary Insurance
• 10% discount on treatment (excluding laboratory bills)
Belvedere Dental Prevention Plan costs £15.50 per month and covers:
• two comprehensive dental examinations per year including oral cancer screening and intra oral photography and all small x-rays
• two hygiene visits per year including scale and polish and oral health advice
• assessment of emergency and dental pain with any temporary treatment required carried out within surgery hours
• membership card with 24 hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
• worldwide Supplementary Insurance.
• 20% discount on treatment (excluding laboratory bills)
Family Discounts
• when three people pay on the same Direct Debit - they will be entitled to a 5% discount on the total monthly sum
• when four or more people pay on the same Direct Debit, they will be entitled to a 10% discount on the total monthly sum
Treatment not covered by a plan can be paid for separately.

Belvedere Dental children’s Plan
Tooth decay is one of the most common preventable diseases and to prevent it requires a commitment of time and effort. With the correct habits, there is no reason
why your child should not have healthy teeth for life. Research shows that preventative dentistry delivered on a regular basis greatly reduces the risk of dental disease in children and provides a platform for a lifetime of improved oral health.
Our children’s plan focuses on the delivery of preventative dentistry on a regular basis, encouraging good diet and oral health habits in your child’s formative years and thereby minimising the need for fillings and extractions. When you enrol your child onto our children’s plan, you will have the peace of mind that all your child’s preventative dentalcare will be covered by convenient monthly payments. Our plan also provides worldwide Supplementary Insurance for dental emergencies or dental injuries whilst at home or abroad – essential cover for the rough and tumble of childhood.

Who is our children’s plan for?
Our plan is designed for those parents or guardians who wish their children to participate in a regular preventative care programme and to budget on a monthly basis. Children between the ages of 6 and 13 years will benefit greatly from joining our children’s plan.
What does our children’s plan include?
Belvedere Dental Children’s Plan (6 - 13 years) costs £7.50 per month and covers:
• one comprehensive dental examination per year
• all small x-rays
• one hygiene visit per year to include fissure sealants, flouride varnish, oral hygiene and dietary advice
• assessment of dental emergencies and pain with any temporary treatment within surgery hours
• 50% discount on treatment fees
• mouth/sports guard provided at cost
• membership card with 24 hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
• worldwide Supplementary Insurance .
Treatment not covered by this plan can be paid for separately.
Please note: Children under 6 years of age will be seen at the dental practice free of charge so long as a parent or guardian is a registered patient of the dental practice.
How do you join a plan?
There is no need for an assessment. All you have to do is complete a registration form and Direct Debit mandate. In addition to your first monthly payment, a one-off registration fee of £10 per person will be charged and will be included in your first Direct Debit payment. Membership of a plan is for a minimum period of 12 months,
but after that you can leave the plan by simply giving one month’s notice.

What happens in an emergency?
You will have access to a 24 hour, 365 day worldwide dental emergency helpline, which will endeavour to find an English speaking dentist to assist you.

What does the Supplementary insurance cover?
Your Supplementary Insurance provides cover for:
• up to £10,000 worth of treatment following dental injury
• temporary emergency treatment whilst away from home in the UK or abroad (up to the limits specified)
• the call-out fee charged by a dentist opening their surgery to treat you in an emergency (up to the limits specified)
• hospital cash benefit if under the care of an oral/maxillofacial surgeon
• £1,000 cash benefit if diagnosed with oral cancer
• 24 hour access to our worldwide emergency helpline
The Supplementary Insurance is designed to cover the cost of temporary emergency treatment whilst you are away from home and therefore excludes the cost of emergency treatment carried out by your own dentist, a rota dentist, or any other dentist within a 15 mile radius of your practice. However, call-out fees charged by any dentist to open their surgery (including your own dentist) are recoverable up to policy limits. In the event of a dental injury, treatment carried out by any dentist (including your own dentist) is covered up to policy limits.
